Study of the mineral composition of promising copper ores of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The article provides a brief overview of the problems copper production in Kazakhstan. It is shown that main current problem copper-smelting involvement low-grade ores complex mineral composition. Existing technologies are focused on processing ore with higher content, accordingly, it necessary to adjust existing enrichment and smelting technologies. To determine composition some samples promising copper-bearing Republic Kazakhstan, an X-ray phase analysis was carried out. identification quantitative calculation content were out using DIFFRAC.EVA DIFFRAC.TOPAS programs. minerals are: chalcopyrite, bornite, chalcosiderite - group 1; malachite, lapis lazuli, atacamite, pseudomalachite, brochantite 2. waste rock represented by following minerals: quartz, muscovite (mica), chlorite (layered silicate), albite (feldspar), pyrite, calcite, sodalite (feldspathoid), gypsum. Based analysis, studied established conclusion made about dominant nature ore. three predominant sulfide, one sample oxide. obtained results allow us make practical recommendations most effective scheme for further processing.
